Me & My Approach
Hi, I’m Alex (she/ her),
I’m a queer Black disabled woman and my lived experience informs how I approach this work. Therapy with me is grounded in care that’s trauma-informed, collaborative, and non-pathologizing. I draw from IFS, somatic, narrative, and psychodynamic therapies to support healing that’s both emotional and embodied.
At the core of what I do is a commitment to social justice, liberation, and inclusion. That means honoring your lived experience, moving at your pace, and holding space for all parts of you.
This work isn’t about fixing you. It’s about reconnecting with your own strength, softness, and self-trust—and creating space for more ease, meaning, and choice in your life.
If this feels like the kind of support you’re looking for, I welcome you to reach out!
